Shiloh

Jeanie and Gord brought their beautiful Shiloh in for some photos a couple of months ago.  I just had the pleasure of handing over their finished prints - a canvas of their family shot and an aluminum print of Shiloh's solo shot.  It was such a treat to receive some photos back from them later that same day showing where they are now hanging in their home.  It means so much when people are as excited about their images as I was to be creating them. Here are the final images!

Agility Art

I just finished a couple of canvases for Heather, with images from the agility event at Wet Noses, and I had to share! I love how the different angles shows their athleticism and true love of the sport. This is Haylee and True!

Silver Valley Ranch and the Paynes

When I hear people say that the prairies are so flat and boring, I think to myself "you haven't seen my prairies then". Alberta is blessed with the most amazing skies, rolling hills, lush grasses, copses of trees and all of them come together at Silver Valley Ranch.  When a dear friend asked me to come up north a bit to take pictures with their grand daughter, I didn't know what to expect.  But I could never have anticipated the vistas that greeted me.  A typical one hour session stretched into far more as we explored all the ranch had to offer.  And I came away with a profound connection to the nature I had enjoyed with them.
Angie and Romeo are the facilitators of Equine Enrichment - equine facilitated coaching. I highly encourage you to visit her site and if you are lucky, enter their world.
Here are just a few of the absolutely amazing shots that came out of that day. Enjoy!

Cheryl Kroeker

Cheryl and I played with some new headshots for her, and as always, she is just such a pro!  I love how her new shots came out and hope they help bring a ton of new energy and direction to the roles she gets! We were trying for some specific direction and range with them - mission accomplished. Break a leg Cheryl!

Wet Noses Agility

Well I have a TON of catching up to do on the blog here, so expect to see a flurry of images over the next while.  It was a super exciting summer, and one of the highlights was shooting my first Agility event at Wet Noses in July.  They put on a phenomenal event....and really - is there any better work than sitting in the sun photographing dogs as they run obstacle courses?  Pure joy for all of us! Here are just a few of the awesome shots from that day - there were so many!

Isabel Carter

I love working with the talented young people that go through the Company of Rogues classes. They have a focus that is rare, and are just so much fun to shoot! Isabel was no exception and I love the final shots that we got! Thanks so much for a fun shoot - and break a leg out there!

Lauren

We connect to each other in so many different ways. Through our voices, our words and our images, we forge bridges to one another. I am always so touched when I am asked to help the connection through images.  This session with Lauren was a birthday present for her fiancee and we had a blast shooting it. Here are a few of our fave images!

Bella - AARCS

Sweet ball of fluff, shy but transforming, reaching out a paw - ready to be loved.  This is Bella. :)

Bella was surrendered from a home that had 7 female cats and she was highly stressed and withdrawn when she first came to AARCS.
Since being in a foster home – Bella has made huge progress. For the first few weeks – she hid and did not allow anyone to touch her. Now she has learned to trust and loves to be petted and tickled under the chin. She is a very gentle cat and although she may be a little shy at first – once she realizes she is not in danger – she loves to follow you around and be fussed over.
Bella has got a long with all the other cats in the home – and currently lives in a home with a Golden Retriever. Bella would do best in a home that is not really noisy – as she tends to like quiet and calm! If you are looking to give a home to gentle, loving cat – come visit Bella.
