Cass Trahan

I love it when I get an actor who is so laid back to work with. Cass was focused and fun and took direction incredibly well.  He needed some good general shots to launch him in a new direction in his acting career and it was a fun afternoon creating them! Here are the final picks:

Cheryl Kroeker

Cheryl and I played with some new headshots for her, and as always, she is just such a pro!  I love how her new shots came out and hope they help bring a ton of new energy and direction to the roles she gets! We were trying for some specific direction and range with them - mission accomplished. Break a leg Cheryl!

Kelly Nitchie

Kelly was super easy to work with.  We had a great afternoon a few weeks ago deciding on how he wanted to present himself with his new headshots.  And even more fun was the shoot itself! We got some great shots, and here are our faves.  Break a leg out there Kelly!

Mico Migliarese

I LOVE when I can bring a new energy to an actors headshots - give them something new, or improved. It helps them get a foot in the door and is such a valuable tool!  Mico was definitely ready for an update and I am glad I could help him out with that.  The weather cooperated, and we were lucky to find a huge pile of railroad timbers by my favourite site as well! Here are his two new shots - break a leg Mico!

Scott Olynek

I just realized how off the hook busy I have been for the last few weeks and that I am way behind on the images I wanted to share from various shoots.  Here is a headshot image that Scott and I did to take him in to the next phase of his career.
Bear with me as I slowly try to catch up on some images that should have been posted ages ago! It seems like I never quite get on top of this side of running a business.

Sean Liv

I met Sean a few years ago as a personal trainer, and we quickly developed a relationship that went beyond our mutual businesses.  Not only do we have a lot in common in our spiritual beliefs, but there is a deep respect for the lives we are manifesting. So when she asked me to help create new, dynamic head shots for the next level of her evolution I jumped on board immediately! Sean is energetic, funky, crazy, connected, passionate and open.  And we wanted all of that to come through in her shots. There were a ton of great ones that really captured her, but here are that final choices for this project. And check out her website-she always has events and news going on!

Madi

There is nothing quite so lovely as the energy of a young person who is doing something they love.  Madi has a sparkle in her that is going to take her a long way in her pursuit of acting.  Here are her headshots that we created a couple of weeks ago.  I know that they will help her get more established on the scene!

Tyler Horsey

Tyler is one of those cool people who transforms in front of the camera.  He has a fabulous ability to connect and it made him very interesting to shoot. Here are the final two shots!

Alison Murray

Alison has the coolest look - so diverse.  Soft and sweet, professional, sexy...so much range.
I love how her shots came out and we had a blast working together as well!

Tiffany

Tiffany came in to the studio last week like a breath of fresh air.  We probably spent as much time talking as we did "working" because we had a lot in common.  Which always makes for an interesting and good shoot because connection is so much of the process!  Thanks for choosing me for your headshots Tiffany - can't wait to see where it takes you!

Jillian

I had the pleasure of working with a young woman who is on her way to big places! Here is one of the headshots we created for her.  I hope it helps to open all possible doors!

Rhaelyn

Love the energy that Rhaelyn puts forth in her headshot. Super cool! And the blue wall brings her alive.  Maybe I shouldn't paint over it...

Jewelle Colwell

I have had the honour of working with Jewelle several times now and it is always so much fun!  I love how committed she is  to her art and career - it is awesome to follow her. I love the direction we went with her shots this year - great location and energy. Click on the blog title to go to her site or here - and check out our history together on the Headshots page on her site!

This is the third time that I have worked with Shelby to create headshots with her.  And I have to say that these ones are my faves! She is going to take New York by storm in a couple of years and I am glad to be a part of the process! Break a leg Shelby!

Clare

I had the pleasure of working with Clare again for her headshots. She owns The Hometown Acting Studio in Medicine Hat and I am always blown away by the calibre of her actors that I have worked with. Clare is such an open and fun person to photograph - it is always a blast!

Dropped out of the blogosphere for a while...

...but I'm back! The Christmas season always kicks my butt a bit and I just realized how long it has been since I have connected on here. I have been doing lots of work and playing with some really cool new stuff - I just haven't been sharing. So I'm going to try and catch up over the next bit with some long over-due blogs.

I had a busy Christmas break and was fortunate enough to get a chance to work with Stefanie Rose-Airey; an incomparable singer who will be taking the world by storm. I was also fortunate enough to do some work for Chris Kerson (an immensely talented actor). There is no bigger compliment to me that an actor would come from New York to work with me for his headshots when there are SOOOOO many amazing photographers in the big apple. Thanks for all your support and know that it is returned one hundred fold. Here are a few shots from their respective sessions.

Break a leg with the upcoming role Chris!
