Art Show and Holiday Market Tomorrow

This is where I will be for the weekend - hanging out in Garrison Woods! I will have most of my current paintings there, as well as demoing onsite, all weekend! There will be a fabulous selection of vendors....and it's inside. What more could you ask for? I hope to see you all there - make sure you stop by and say hi!

Mico Migliarese

I LOVE when I can bring a new energy to an actors headshots - give them something new, or improved. It helps them get a foot in the door and is such a valuable tool!  Mico was definitely ready for an update and I am glad I could help him out with that.  The weather cooperated, and we were lucky to find a huge pile of railroad timbers by my favourite site as well! AARCS - Mona!

So much puppy love as of late.  And while it's sad that so many puppies need rescuing, I think that it is so amazing that there are so many agencies that are there for them.  So without further ado - meet Mona! She is available for adoption, and seriously...she is the cuddliest, softest puppy I have met yet!

Hi! I’m Mona! I am a 2 month old mixed breed pup. I am currently living with my foster family and they love having me in their home. I am such a cuddle bug; I love any attention I can get. I am working on my house training and have only had one accident in the house so far, I sit quietly by the door to try and let them know I need to go outside. My foster parents are always telling me how well behaved I am. I love to sit for treats! I sleep throughout the night and rarely make a peep. I am doing well at crate training and I normally just curl up on my bed and have a sleep.
My foster family has two dogs and a cat and I really love them all. I’m fine with playing by myself but sometimes I like to run around with the big guys or go hangout with the cat. I haven’t been around kids yet but I’m sure I would like them; As long as they want to give me lots of hugs and kisses and maybe throw my ball!

Jake and Laura

Laura called me and asked if I would take some shots of her lovely Jake. At the time, Jake was very ill, but you would never have known it on this day! He may have been a bit tired, but he posed and played like a champ, and as a result, we got some fantastic shots. Jake has since passed and he is so missed by Laura and her parents.  I am thankful I got to know him a bit and spend a morning in his company.  He had a lovely, gentle soul and I'm glad these memories are captured.

AARCS - Juno

 

Meet Juno! This little sweetie was found under a shed with no mom or siblings. Juno was roughly 5 weeks when she was rescued and only weighed 3 lbs. She was very dehydrated for the first couple weeks but has since turned into a happy healthy pup.
Her markings are so cute and she steals everyone’s attention when she enters a room. She still thinks hands and feet are chew toys but with a little bit of time and work she will grow out of it. We have started to house train Juno but she is a work in progress. She will go to the bathroom outside but hasn’t figured out to let you know that she needs to go out. She is only an 8 week old puppy so this will take a little time. Juno is going to be a fast learner though she already knows how to sit. She is very food motivated…when its dinner time she can barely sit still.
Juno lives with two other dogs and a cat. She gets along great with everyone…although I think the cat is her favorite. She loves to follow you around the house and even does the stairs (if you saw her size you would see why this is amazing). Her favorite activity is tug and she loves stuffed animals that are way too big for her. When she runs she does more of a bounce and it is the cutest thing ever.

Princess for A.A.R.C.S.

Last week I shot two of the most beautiful little puppies for A.A.R.C.S.  All big floppy ears and goofy grins, these two stole my heart.  The first one, Cotton has already found a home. Isn't she absolutely lovely? She stayed close to my heels the whole time and stole my heart.

 Princess was, if possible, even more lovely.  She cuddled and played and showed indomitable puppy spirit.  Such an absolute sweetheart and really good with children!  Here is a link to her profile: http://aarcs.ca/portfolio-item/a21035566/ and here is her write up:

Princess is an adorable, playful little girl who listens very well! At her foster home there are 3 small children and 2 other dogs. She is amazing with the kids and wants to play with every dog she meets. She is learning to understand basic commands and will whine when she has to go outside. Princess is patient little girl who has been well loved by 2 little girls who think she wants to ride in their doll stroller and wrapped up like a baby.

Lindsay and Garrett

A few weeks ago, I had the absolute pleasure of capturing Lindsay and Garrett's wedding day.  What a fabulous group of people. Everything was so well organized, every detail taken care of. Not only is Lindsay very organized, but Afton and Sarah from One West Weddings made sure that the day went off without a hitch.
