I have been meaning to post this painting for months!  I was asked by a client to create this for one of her friends and clients.  He was moving in to a new condo she had helped him find and she wanted him to have new art for his place. I was so touched that she asked me to create this for him. It was fun to play off something cute with a touch of humour. This is Pandamonium!

I have been playing with a new series of paintings that are a complete departure from my Pretty Girls. And I should not be surprised how much I love painting animals - I am animal crazy! New Paintings

I have had mostly finished paintings piling up in my lair for months. I finally spent some time and finished them up and listed them on Etsy.  Thought I would share with all you lovely readers here too! I love the pink in both of them. I am completely drawn in by pink and teal these days. Enjoy and thanks for looking!

New Journal Backgrounds

 I just created a couple of art journal backgrounds that I love, so thought that I would share them here.  These feel like I am getting back to a stye that I was missing...like I had forgotten about it and left it behind in the name of every element needing to be mine.  Hand created.  There is something so peaceful about just flowing with images.  Cutting. Pasting.  Breathing. And out of that came a couple of pages that I can't wait to write all over.  That mean something to me.  I hope you enjoy!

Family Love Grow

 

 This is another long over-due post.  And weirdly - these are some of my favourite images from last year! They have been on my list to share for awhile, so thought this would be the perfect time.  Spring is here and this location is so gorgeous right now, that it made me think of this shoot.  I love working with this family. They are truly such a lovely group and I have so enjoyed watching them all grow and change over the last number of years! They let me play - unique images and check the canvas composites out! Such a different way to show your family off!

The top one is my favourite, and the full version has staples and masking tape and yummy grungy ink - you'll just have to come in to the studio to see it!
