I love being invited to be a part of the various relationships within a family. So when Heather asked me to capture her daughters and their aging dog, Sandy, I felt honoured to be asked. This secret project is for their dad, so if you know them...hush hush....

The Shipleys

 

 So this is one of the loveliest families I have EVER had the pleasure to meet and work with.  Their children we so nice and you could feel the love emanating out of every pore of each of them.  There was a true sense of togetherness that seem to be so often missing these days and I came away feeling better about the world as a whole for having met them. So while they have some very real challenges in their lives, they have allowed it to build up their family instead of pulling it apart.  And for that I have SUCH mad respect.
