Cowtown

Congratulations to Simon Mallett and Joe-Norman Shaw. Their production and world debut of Cowtown was fantastic! I had the pleasure to go on Wednesday night for the opening and I was so excited with the calibre of the piece. Look for fantastic performances by Chipperfield clients: Khari Jones, Dimitri Arvanitis and Dustin MacDougall. It's on the rest of this week at the Pumphouse Theatre. Where does the time go?

So I'm obviously not used to this format yet. I've been working on lots of cool stuff, but I forget to share it! Some of what I've been playing with is Visual Journalling. Taking life's moments photographically and thorough journalling, and integrating them together in to an art piece. My daughter has been so instrumental in the process. I remember so little of what I liked and who I was at a young age, that I want to capture as much of that for her as I can. This is an amazing legacy that we can pass down to our children and beyond. To show them how much we care, cry, laugh and stress. It's the big and the small moments. Here are a few of the ones that I've been working on.

I love creating these moments for her and for me. She's so young and there's so much that I've forgotten already. This gives me a way to remember. Because it really does go fast.
