Beautiful Boy

I had the absolute pleasure of working with this fabulous newborn and his charming brother in the comfort of their home. We had so much fun - here are a few of the shots from the day.

A couple of months ago, I posted the originals from their session. I was so pleased with how this Life Art came out that I wanted to share these images as well. What an awesome way to remember who they are at this point in their lives.

Where does the time go?

So I'm obviously not used to this format yet. I've been working on lots of cool stuff, but I forget to share it! Some of what I've been playing with is Visual Journalling. Taking life's moments photographically and thorough journalling, and integrating them together in to an art piece. My daughter has been so instrumental in the process. I remember so little of what I liked and who I was at a young age, that I want to capture as much of that for her as I can. This is an amazing legacy that we can pass down to our children and beyond. To show them how much we care, cry, laugh and stress. It's the big and the small moments. Here are a few of the ones that I've been working on.

I love creating these moments for her and for me. She's so young and there's so much that I've forgotten already. This gives me a way to remember. Because it really does go fast.
